We are inspired to positively impact the world and our community.
We created the Piedmont Lithium Foundation – Power for Life, Inc. to help us make a difference in Gaston County – and wherever we plan to operate–to focus on supporting local educational, community, and charitable initiatives.
STEM Education
As a science-based organization, we are committed to supporting the core pillars of a successful education: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We expect to award scholarships and grants to help further these learnings in our community.
The Cherryville High School Education Foundation was the recipient of the inaugural gift from Power for Life. Our $10,000 donation is now furthering academic excellence in Cherryville High School.
John Chavis Middle School received approximately $6,000 from Power for Life to help build an outdoor classroom and learning laboratory to enhance education about plants, food, and agriculture.
